AA really should extend the MCT from Eagle to be more than 10mins vs mainline. Not long ago I checked a bag close to the T-45 cutoff and the agent asked me in a somber tone "you know this is in the remote terminal, right?" and looked at me like I was really going to miss the flight.
I suggested this to the customer success agent, who called me last Sunday after I wrote in about the bus operation on my trip. I said that you’re setting people up for an awful customer experience by selling these connections when the bus can range from 10 minutes to over an hour. She said that AA is working with the airport authority to address the issues as they are both responsible based on how the contract is structured. I also suggested they lean on the bus operator to increase frequencies during peak times. And, most of these flights aren’t 6x per day destinations.
