At first I thought it was because I was trying to stack the AARP and Chase discount since I've had issues before with that so gave up on AARP and tried directly, but after trying 3 browsers (clearing all cookies) and removing each discount (aarp, chase, evouchers) one by one I can get to the payment page with every combination so as long as I don't use my eVoucher. Is this a known issue using eVouchers? Any idea on workarounds, seems pretty crappy that the use of what was a service recovery voucher isn't usable. I will note that the eVoucher is in GBP, I am in the US and the site when I apply it does convert the GBP (700) to USD (922) so not sure if that is an issue
To add extra fun, I just got an email that "Your flight to London is waiting" with a book now button so figured why not give that a go...that brings me to a page with "Your payment is in progress. Please don't refresh the page or click the back button. " which just sits there with a progress bar going back and forth, mind you I've not given them any payment details since the website errored out before asking for that...
So I believe I figured out the reason I was unable to use the eVouchers, figured I'd post an update incase others were also unaware of what caused my issue. The eVoucher I received was in GBP but the flight I was attempting to book was from the USA so was priced in USD, when I applied the eVoucher the website happily did the conversion and showed the "discount" in USD (one voucher was for 700GBP the other 35GBP), upon submitting them there was no indication there was an issue or that using an eVoucher in GBP for a flight priced in USD was not allowed this wasn't something I saw in the T&Cs.

But would fail out at the payment page or after selecting seats as described in my OP, and I've tried many times over the past few months still no joy any booking (even those without any other discounts/multiple browsers/clearing cookies). Despite the fact I was told by BA CS they we working on fixing it back in November 2025
I'd always end up with the same result, either an error if I skipped seat selection or if I picked seats it would just hang after that with a progress bar forever. Well while I normally book flights from SEA to LHR there's one trip a year I start in LHR, so I found myself booking a flight LHR-SEA this weekend and figured I try and use the vouchers and...what do you know they worked w/o issue, so I believe the issue and learning is to if you're not based in UK make sure to ask for the voucher in local currency or the currency you intend to use it on or they won't work on the website. Maybe this is a limitation already well known and I messed up in not asking for int USD, but given the web site took the voucher without issue, converted the currency, and frankly it seems to me that BA very much should be able to allow you to use these vouchers in different currencies (they clearly could do the maths and said they'd be fixing this 5 months ago!) but...yeah for non-UK folks I'd suggest if you end up in a position where you're receiving a voucher to ask it in the currency you intend to use it in.
