I’m on the same PNR as my partner and we are 1 & 2 on the upgrade list, which is 30 people long. It’s an Aeroplan booking. I am SE and my partner is 35k.

I’m not going to take the flight but my partner will.

Should I wait until my partner’s eUpgrade is confirmed before cancelling my ticket (so I don’t threaten the chances)? Or should I just not show up? Or something else?
