Happy Friday all.

Glad the situation is improving Fritz It must be difficult. And have fun all at the Toulouse do.

We are on our last day in Japan and now in Tokyo. We had already booked our last night dinner for the night before the last night and it was delightful. We are pleased to report that we survived the puffer fish “challenge” said restaurant served.

We’ve had a lovely time and decided to splash out on a brunch in our hotel. Quite spectacular. And absolutely rammed - it looked like today is some sort of holiday or something.

A fantastic view, despite the rain, of the hotel’s garden, which we gather is a tourist site in its own right.

I don’t think I want the trip to end but am looking forward to the journey back with LX. Not least because pre-ordering the meals, seat allocation, gate allocation, OLCI all work and it looks like my SEN status has stuck for one last journey. I really don’t miss BA.

Edited to add that it is a public holiday in Japan - the vernal equinox, marking the beginning of Sakura and, apparently one of the most important days of the year.
