We had a similar situation today with a warranty claim for a defective bag. The bag had to be exchanged in store but was treated as a refund to the original order and then a new bag given with a $0 charge. Is the thought that BA shopping may try to recoup the points already processed and paid to my account for this "return" of an item awarded 250x points? I've went ahead and transferred the points out of BA in hopes that at minimum provides a chance to explain the situation should attempt be made to claw the points back.
