I assume this is a one-way fare that you are looking for.
QR might rebook you, or not, on AF. If the situation drags on, which is likely for 29/3, fares on alternative airlines will shoot up quickly.
Hence you have the choice between a rather stress-free non stop airline at high price or getting ready for spending lot of time and energy and hoping for a favorable rerouting. You will not have much priority for rebooking from QR on a ticket purchased well after the war started in a cheap fare class.
Thanks for chimming in. I also think there wont be any economy class seats available on AF two days out, 99% it will be sold out.
Does QR look at the purchase date and fare class when rebooking? I think if a flight is cancelled they kinda ought to transport all affected pax no mated when a ticket was purchased.
Off topic. Almost booked JNB-CDG with EY (business for only 900 eur), thankfully checked FT first. You guys have it easy, hey

. EY point blank say to passengers to go f*** themselves, no rebooking whatsoever.
