Having looked at EK's recent notifications, there's no mention of re-routing on other airlines. So, I can't see one of their agents offering this to me.
As it stands I can either re-book to travel at a later date or wait until the 28/2 - 15/4 date is extended so that I can apply for a refund. I'm due to fly back on the 16th.
