UK261 would not apply. When it is a single ticket, the carrier causing the delay/misconnect will have to manage the rebooking. In this case DL in Seattle. If it is obvious before departure you may try to get rebooked at the origin, but they may insist that you go to the connection point. As they don't necessarily see if there are plans to hold the next flight as more passengers may be delay.
Cool, thanks. There's loads of availability on the DL flight to LHR currently so that should be fine.
