Unfortunately, you've got pretty much all I've got of any halfway decent looking offerings from 2004. Twenty-one years ago... Seems I took a lot more pictures over the past twelve years or so.

I'm not sure when cookies started showing up as the main dessert item. I like cookies - especially chocolate chip - who doesn't? - but my preference would be for a proper dessert, especially on midcons and transcon length flights. Cake, a slice of strudel, etc.

When I was a young teenager flying United and TWA back and forth between DEN and JFK, one of the standard dessert offerings was the custard and fruit tart. In coach! Lord only knows what dessert was served in First Class back in those days!
