I'm considering making a one-way Eurobonus booking consisting of two segments: the first a US domestic flight to SEA with DL, the second with VS to LHR.
The connection in Seattle is 40 minutes, which seems a little on the tight side, so there must be a fair chance of missing the VS flight.
Does anyone have experience of reticketing on Eurobonus partner awards? There's a DL flight to London later that evening which I'd hope to be put on, but whether SK and DL would be able to sort that out between them seems questionable.
I believe I'd be covered under UK261 if my arrival in London was delayed by more than 3 hours ("
arrive at an airport in the UK
on an EU
or UK
airline"). Am I right in thinking that any claim should go to SK in this scenario? Has anyone gone through the process of claiming compensation from them for delays on partner awards?
TIA
Edit: I've now found a thread indicating that UK261 "probably does not apply", which I guess just leaves the question regarding the potential reticketing.
