Indeed no anxiety here, I chased status with BA for a number of years by booking trips I didn’t actually need to retain that status. BA have made it clear that they no longer value my loyalty, which they are perfectly entitled to do!

I now book flights based purely on cost and personal preference, which I am perfectly entitled to do!

I’ve enjoyed generally a much better offering and no longer spend my money with BA unless it suits me.

there is no emotion involved.
