If it is working as well as that, I wonder why BA objected so strongly? AFAIK the current BA arrival process is because they wouldn't use the biometrics.
I don’t know if that is correct, from discussion I’ve had the biometric option was not on the table for domestic arrivals, only for CTA and that was necessitated due to those passengers needing to clear customs but not immigration.
