The operation of the FFP is pretty much totally unrelated to air operations. I wouldn't judge QRPC by how QR is currently handling the Iran war issues, I'd judge it by things like whether you can get the award redemptions you want, -- the extent to which QRPC meets your needs, rather than the extent to which QR flight ops meet your needs.

I spend about 20k-25k CAD per year on flights, but mainly on AC. I want to keep my OW status too.
If you live in Canada and most of your spend is on AC, why the interest in OneWorld and earning/maintaining status there? OneWorld has pretty limited coverage of Canada.
