Just off a long an utterly fruitless call with Iberia. My flight home was cancelled into DOH but not the flight from DOH. IB solution is via Oman and they don’t care that governments have said no to non essential travel to almost all of the Middle East. Having done so all insurance is null and void.
They claim there are no seats on any airline yet Google flights etc all show availability. The only other option is a refund.

I am thrilled for those who got re routed but let’s not lose sight of the fact that Iberia are behaving very badly toward many when compared to their IAG partner BA. It is shocking
