Does that cover all mcgc and vgc now? Not that I've had one that worked in the last year anyway.
Basically, now Citi will not permit payment of their CCs with either prepaid or legit debit cards such as a Key Bank debit card attached to an actual Key bank demand deposit account.
The whole point of a debit card was the ability to eliminate having to write checks to pay for items especially at a retail outlet. (if one remembers those days

So now to pay a Citi CC, I will have to BP or ACH to Citi out of my demand deposit account.Not that it made much difference since Key's debit card has no cash back, but there are bank accounts which make you do a certain number of transactions a month with their attached debit card to get or maintain certain benefits (such as eliminating fees).
So in that way, this is a further PIA restriction.
