It was nice to read a positive non bitter comment from the OP!
A lot of it is the fact that they're willing to "reward" you for weaker offerings in places, with no future guarantees of anything, as long as you pay multiple times more than you did previously.
If they renamed the first wing (and GF), it might sit better as it's never really been "first". That would be more suited to the security lane that leads directly to the millionaire's door (probably billionaire's door in future if people are spending £££££££)
