I'm currently sitting in our room on the 7th floor, booked with Chase The Edit. The view out of room is of the office building next door but don't really care about that.
Location is good even with a pretty long underground walk to TST MTR station. Having the Star Ferry just is close is nice as. Dinner in Wan Chai and it was fast trip back with two MTR stops and a train change. Given much cheaper than Edit options on the island would choose Langham almost every time. $225/night vs triple that of HK Island Edit hotels.
The room is nice enough, clearly showing it's age but the beds are comfy (not so much for the too soft, thin pillows) and the shower water pressure is good.
We've liked the buffet breakfast the first two days but the latte/drip isn't good, thankfully many coffee shops nearby (highly recommend Urban Coffee Roasters). About to have lunch at T'ang Court to use our $200 Chase credit (we booked consecutive stays with bot of our Sapphire cards and they said will just take $200 off the single final bill rather than having to use the $100 we each get during our reserved stay which was a very nice surprise). So will update after that.
Update: Lunch at T'ang Court was great. The dim sum was made with a higher level of craftsmanship and ingredients and the roast goose from the main menu was clearly superior to roast meat restaurants elsewhere in the city.
