Terminal 5 is demolished. There used to be 2 bus stops. Terminal 5 and T4. Now there is only T4. That has to accommodate everyone so is causing huge backups. Yes. Taking other carriers will avoid it. This is going to last for a couple of years but then they are moving Eagles Nest as well. One can consider 5 Star select which will get you a ride at a price. Or there is the Private Suites at LAX. That too is pricey but you get a remote terminal to check into and a ride to your plane, as well as a place to park off site of the airport.
