Thanks for the info. The lack of clarity has been frustrating. Things have constantly changed and there have at times been contradictory information. That said, I understand this is a difficult situation for Etihad but there are some things they could do better.

The last two recent flights from MAN have been evening flights (EY 76) but it looks like they are switching to early morning flights (EY78). The early morning flight is a bit of pain for me because I'm about 80 miles away from the airport which means getting the last train the night before. I was originally on the early afternoon flight (EY74) which would have given me a good few hours to relax and have a shower in the Business Class Lounge in AUH. I don't like short transit stops. From what you have said, I'm assuming you're departing MAN next Friday (20th) on EY78?

I'm trying to avoid the London option. I can get a direct train from here in the Lake district to London Euston but getting from Euston to LHR with a lot of luggage is a bit of a pain. EY78 from MAN is preferable.
