I find this to be a major disappointment. For IAD, I remember that Southwest flew to it, then quit flying there, then came back to the airport again.
For ORD, I find this to be a major disappointment. I wonder whether United or American is paying Southwest for the gates/slots in their fight with each other in trying to get more flights out of ORD. It would not surprise me if their adding so many flights has brought down the prices to the point where Southwest finds itself no longer competitive out of that airport.
I wonder if having to cut flights at all of these major airports is a sign that Southwest's new strategy is not working out, despite their not wanting to admit it.
