Thanks to BAH double tier points promotion my wife and I moved to BA gold, but will shortly drop to silver.
We have really enjoyed the convenience of first wing at LHR which worked particularly well for my wife who requires assistance.
As self funding leisure travellers gold status or first class tickets are out of reach, but we have enjoyed our time in the sun.
