We're flying DL AKL-LAX in D1 then DL LAX-LAS on a separate booking. We only have about 1:45 (as we didn't want to wait 4 hours for the next flight to LAS). We have GE. Does it make the most sense to get through GE, get bags, customs then walk over to D1 check-in and re-check bags? Seems like it's the closest to Bradley anyway and we should be eligible to use it and hopefully have some time for D1 Lounge since we're arriving in D1. I haven't connected INT-DOM in LAX in a long time.
Now that GE is re-opened, will it be relatively quick to get through just before 6am?

Why not just get them tagged through to LAS and drop them off in TBIT right after leaving customs? Then head to the D1 lounge.
