Lets hope they sort it out and it's just temporary. I've done as you suggested and booked refundable alternatives. I spoke with Hhonors, they were not so helpful as they still see the booking as active. I'll call them back once the cancellation gets through to the hilton system. Real shame, I was looking forward to this stay.
