Unrelated, but I'm reminded of the striking difference in mindset between UK and US consumers when it comes to flight price decreases.

Especially with r/BritishAirways, the prevailing sentiment I've seen is "lol are you crazy? you don't get asked to pay more if the price increases so why do you think you can take advantage of a price decrease", but US consumers have become accustomed to being able to do just that on non-refundable tickets, given the lack of change/cancellation fees on non-BE fares.
