You can't choose to not confirm your profile in the Android app, it just says if something isn't right then to contact CBP. This is clearly an Android error because pulling up the exact same Trusted Traveler credentials in the iOS/iPadOS app will reflect US Citizenship.
I flagged this for CBP but they just told me to submit feedback to DHS and request a profile correction (which I do not think is the prudent course of action). There's no issue with the profile, just whatever faulty database parameter is being used by the Android app.

I'll also add that I have had no issues clearing CBP with the Android app, for what it's worth.
