Does this method still work as of 2026 for United Future Flight Credits? Or does it just revert back to the original expiration date now?
If you read the last couple of pages of this thread this was discussed several times. This is a YMMV situation. Some have had success in getting the expiration reset for later using that method while others haven't. You will also read that another way to extend the expiration is to book any domestic flight that is prior to expiration and then use the change flight feature to push out the date as far as you can and then have time to decide on what you really want to book.
