Forgot what the starter was called, but the cheese was a bit excessive with the ham and melon balls and the crunchy nut sauce thing was a bit odd too. At least the salad was good and not frozen.

Main of Thai green curry prawns was ok, though the vegetables were super dried out and the dish needed all of the spice

And sundae with everything

I found the tapas options to generally be pretty decent with the chimichurri that came with the empanadas being really good, though the rice portion was a bit much

Stir-fried chicken and mushrooms, black bean corn empanadas, brown butter gnocchi

Pre-arrival was the shrimp congee, which was much thicker and I would like but otherwise fine. These shrimp had their tails on whereas the ones from dinner had no tails. Bonus points for the croissant not being smashed

Overall food was ok-some highlights but at least no major lowlights

That is an issue with United. They could increase the food budget, but they have also cheapened out with FA staffing. Need both to execute good soft product delivery on board.

They probably should not call it "congee". They should douse it with some sweet sticky soy, and instead call it chee cheong fun.
