With airlines being cautious on the middle east would be interesting to see how it would affect ATL-RUH launch date if things aren’t settled down by October. Here are some possibilities delta could consider if it doesn’t proceed with ATL-RUH or delays the start date
SEA-CTS
JFK-DEL
ATL-NBO
JFK-NBO
LAX-CHC
If DL cannot start ATL-RUH due to issues in that part of the world, I don't really see them starting much else because there won't be as many customers.
As much as I would like to fly to CTS and CHC, I don't see DL starting these routes. There are no flights from North America to CTS and the only route from North America to CHC is a seasonal route on UA to SFO.
