What time is your departing flight though? Not sure if DL operates the same was as UA at TPE, but when we departed TPE last year on UA, the check-in counters did not open until exactly 3 hours before departure.

Our flight wasn't until mid-afternoon, but we got ready a bit earlier than planned and figured we would head to the airport early and just hang out in a lounge, but then had to wait in the public side with our luggage for an extra hour. I know you don't have luggage and maybe you will have your BP early, but if I had to do it over again, I would have stayed in our hotel room longer since that was more comfortable. Maybe I would have felt different if we weren't dragging checked luggage around trying to find a place to sit pre-security.
