All the examples of past aircraft introductions were for new aircraft types. Given that this one is more about new seats/layout, I wonder if the routes might be different during the teething process.
I think it makes sense since the routines that needs familiarization are more for the FAs rather than pilots + FAs. If they "spread out" the initial domestic familiarization routes of this aircraft type beyond just SFO-LAX, perhaps that might be a clue to what hub/s might get these planes for some international routes???
