picture of the seat on Airliners.net shows it with a front that houses the extertainment unit. Thus, it appears there is no way to take advantage of excess space.
Please advise me on Cathay!
that is the photo for row 88.
for me 86A is the best seat - :-: window, :-: huge leg room (more pitch than any other business or first class seat), :-: upper deck, :-: private side cupboards, :-: faces 2 crew jumpseats (need i say more ?? oh, and first out of the plane in an emergency !)
here are a couple pics of the CX UD :
Cathay Pacific 747 Upper Deck
you can see the leg room on the port side of row 86 is positively ginormous. the newspaper trolley is placed there during boarding, and it STILL has more leg room than the rest
fisheye perspective from seat 86A
try as you might, there is no way u can reach the row in front of you (row 83), not unless you're 3+ metre tall
