The Collins Super Diamond seat remains one of my favorite J seats- the only issue with AA is that you may end up getting a 772 or 788 with the dreaded Concept D seats.

For the time being there just isn’t a lot of consistency with equipment/seats on premium transcon- but this should improve over the next 1-2 years as AA takes on more XLRs, UA takes their premium A321neo “Coastliners”, and hopefully we will see the retirement of the UA domestic 772s.
