Was that AFTER the original flight was cancelled? Did you ask for a rerouting on a different carrier (as per UK/261), or did they offer it? And what class of service was it? We have an LGW/DXB/CPT coming up on Monday (in J). Would love them to give me direct on VS or BA. Or even 1 stop on KL or LH.
There's been talk about UK261 and I know that it applies to passengers flying from UK airports. What if a trip involves another EK flight to get to my final destination?
I'll be flying out to DXB at the end of the month and will be stopping overnight. Then I'll be continuing my journey on to AKL.
When I'm due to return to DXB and discover that my flight from AKL is cancelled, will EK put me up in a local hotel?
