Well, the fare I am looking at does not have a book and hold button. So I called telephone agent to book and hold instead. :-)

That is after a frustrating experience dealing with Delta's agent who sounds to me is in some out of country call center and is totally imcompetent ... AND, after the reservation, I cannot pull up the reservation on Delta website ...

So I booked a UA flight as a back up. The agent tried to get me to sign up UA Visa after we finished the reservation. Sheesh. Received the solicitation from UA thru mail at least once every other month ...

I cannot log in UA site as I have never registered. Registered and requested a temporary password and never got the email ... I thought this is an automated process ? Will call United.com tech support tomorrow to sort it out.

Cannot believe AA is charging $100 more for the same thing ... otherwise booking on AA would be painless.
