March 31st sounds like a wonderful day to support your argument and choose DL, but we can all find exceptions. Look at August 6-10th. Not one single aircraft the entire week other than Delta 767s. FYI usually UA has two 787s a day.
For the record I hate UA and EWR, but there is no way in he*l ill pay DL for their 767.
Trust me I'm no fan when it's majority 763s too, but I am seeing far more days than I used to with lots of options. Flying it almost weekly for the last few years I've only had to take a 763 maybe once or twice, and for the last several weeks (when there haven't been 764s or 339s) tthere have been pretty consistently two or three 332s/333s each day which are fine.
