I was as well in BKK with a ticket to ZRH in F on EY. They were not reachable. On my way to my singapore airlines flight I passed by the counter and got to skip the queue. But it was quite pointless. No prebooking possible. I now also have a recording from the airport that they refuse rebooking on other airlines.
Surprisingly, large amount of passengers showed up to wait in line with Etihad at the airport in bangkok. What they received was a meal voucher, an apology letter and a hotel voucher for one night ad I understand. But no rebookings.
That's just pathetic. I'm wondering if they'll allow partial refunds. My friend has now forked out ~2,5K for a fully refundable flight on TK SIN-IST-ZRH plus a LCC HKT-SIN, but not departing for another 10 days on this. So still a slight chance that EY will restart flights in the meantime.
