Update - now the itinerary is straight up not pulling up when I try to query it on Qatar's website using my confirmation number. Similarly, when I chatted today with them, they seemed to have difficulty pulling the reservation up in the first place, saying I have an invalid confirmation number. They're saying the same old "I have escalated your case. Please wait for a response from the team" (as if it wasn't "escalated" 5 times before this). This time they didn't bother providing an ETA either.... At what point do I have grounds to sue (in small claims court if nothing else) and make an actually legitimate amount of money? Like what recourse do I have to actually get them to pay attention? I can't help but wonder how the people who are still stuck in Rome are dealing with it..
