Last Thursday, the first escalator going down to the VAL was not operational again. AGAIN!!!
Why don't they have automatic signalling in case of malfunction? After all, maybe they do, but don't care?
What about an emergency team for "key" devices like this one which should be repaired within the hour?
It has been reported here that this particular escalator could remain non-operational for weeks at a time. Why is that?
Look at the same equipment in the Paris metro, in airports or commercial centres around the world; they work day in day out without problem.
Who are the people in charge? Is there actually anyone in charge?
Why, why on earth does this escalator keep failing? And not fixed without delay?
