Digging this thread up with a related issue: I've just bought a JAL "I" class ticket to Europe which includes NGO-HEL-LHR on Finnair, and AY's MMB is trying to charge me for seat selection.

I've used this same "I" ticket from JAL many times before (but on AY from HND) and never been charged. Any ideas if this is something new or a bug as has been mentioned?
