While the JWC policy is not new (and limited in the sense that only cancellation in 0-1 days from original departure time would permit rebooking completely on other airlines), the option 2 for additional flexibility for rebooking on other airlines seem to have no such restriction, as well as giving flexibility for up to 10 days rather than just within 2 days of original travel date.

Hopefully this means people can now be rebooked on other airlines (without any QR segment) without issues.
