How's this for size? Dec 15th, 2003, me, a heavy set guy doing a MR from MKE-ORD-LAX-ORD-MKE. Plane from ORD arrived at 1.40pm at LAX..took another 10 mins to taxi into gate 66. Plane back to ORD was leaving at 2pm out of gate 77.
Another one just this past January. ORD-SFO-NRT-SIN. The ORD-SFO flight had like 4h 30 of flight time padded in. Well, actual flight time was 5h 12 mins. Arrived into gate 83 at 11.15am. Doors opened and rushed off to International terminal gate 100, which of course, has to be the next to furthest gate possible out of the 20 gates they have at the Intl terminal. Flight was scheduled to depart at 11.30am for NRT. Phew...
