If they don't want to rebook people on other airlines, maybe they could operate some repatriation flights directly from Asia to Europe? They could probably fill a couple of the A380s they have at BKK with the passengers and crew waiting for events. Say to FRA or LHR. Appreciate it's easy for me to say and probably not that simple but better than sitting around with heads in sand.
