If you continue to earn SE status, MM does almost nothing for you (nor has it ever).
The only thing I can see MM doing for me (when the time comes) as an SE is having higher UG priority, otherwise nothing.
As someone who usually buys PY for TPAC and TATL, it would be nice to have that competitive edge.
