I've seen SE Asia availability act strangely last few days. Sample size is small, but I noticed business class getting zeroed out in anything below J, while J still can be high, like J7. This is for travel in the coming month. I assume this means they are not yet fully booked even though the ME3 surely are looking to move passengers away from connections in ME, but AY is counting on being able to sell seats from the highest bucket going forward.
If they do, people on waitlist for upgrade surely are staying in 58Ö. The flip side is, if they don't get that demand, a J-only avilability set-up might prevent seats from getting sold to the regular customers and there will be more seats left at T-48 than usually.
