Of course we've taken that into consideration. And I don't need or expect to be "in close contact" with my wife for an 8.5 hour flight. But the flip side of that is "Might there be a seating arrangement that will allow for comfort, rest, (maybe) sleep, etc, and still offer the ability to easily communicate with each other when either of us deems it necessary?" It's a balancing act for sure, hence my original question. Per the information from findark, in light of the available seating, the answer would appear to be a pretty emphatic "Nope."
