We are approaching the first year end under the new BAC and there have been several threads about how to get various amounts of nTPs to hit status levels. Given that nTPs is essentially just a reflection of cash now, especially with the BA-only spend requirement for GGL, there have been inevitable comments along the lines of "why would you spend that much £££ just to get Gold/GGL/whatever?".

All of which led to the idea for this thread: how much would you spend to get GGL or Gold? How close would you have to naturally get to the level above before you decided to spend extra of your personal money to hit the next level? For GGL would it be within 25k nTP? 10k? 5k? For Gold would it be within 5k? 2k?

I'll start with myself: I will naturally end up about 15,000 nTP short of GGL (first time not renewal) and have decided not to spend any extra for nTP runs to hit GGL.
