it turned back from Doha on Feb 28th I’m assuming because of the air strikes in the Middle East. But this seems a bit random

or is G-ZBLD coming back and is somehow showing under G-ZBLA? I know IAG said they should be done with the 787 groundings in May
G-ZBLD has shown some recent transponder pings from the BA hanger, so hopefully it returns to service soon! I might hazard a guess at crew training on G-ZBLA? With 32 extra B78X's due over the next few years, BA will need to train up a lot more B787 pilots and perhaps with quite a few free slots in LHR's schedule at the moment, they are taking advantage of it to familiarise some new pilots on the aircraft?
