Have BA changed their approach recently to guests. My wife is gold whilst myself and my three year old daughter are silver (in both cases a lot closer to the gold than silver threshold) - our family is not in the UK so we travel a lot. I'm closer to gold this year than my wife but I don't see the point of chasing it down because BA seems to have got strict on who can go into the lounge. Previously as long as either I or my wife were gold they let all three of us into the lounge but now it seems that is no longer allowed. Which defeats the point as we can hardly leave our three year old to get through the airport alone. It's a bit galling when I add up our total tier points as a trio and it's well over double the gold threshold...
