TWP2603: Lufthansa Group airlines adjust the flight offer to and from the Middle East
Due to the current situation in the Middle East, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv (TLV), Beirut (BEY), Amman (AMM), Dammam (DMM) and Erbil (EBL) through Sunday, 8 March 2026. Flights to and from Tehran (THR) had already been cancelled through the end of March 2026.
The following airspaces will also not be used until 8 March 2026: Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuweit, Bahrain, Dammam and Iran.
In addition, the Lufthansa Group airlines will suspend flights to and from Dubai (DXB/DWC) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) through Wednesday, 4 March 2026. Furthermore, the airspace of the United Arab Emirates will not be used until 4 March 2026
In addition, the Lufthansa Group airlines will suspend all flights to and from Larnaca (LCA) on Monday, 2 March 2026.
We regret the inconvenience caused to our passengers. As soon as the situation and the associated airspace closures allow, we will decide on additional flights from the region so that we can offer our guests a flight home as soon as possible.
Lufthansa Group is continuously monitoring and assessing the security situation in the Middle East and is in close contact with the authorities.
The safety of passengers and crews is always the top priority for Lufthansa Group.
Guests who are affected by an irregularity will be informed accordingly (provided the contact details were stored in the booking).
