35- are we starting off with a Hawaiian D8S again? let's try SEA for the first connection point, with the whole trip being:
  • OGG-SEA HA D8S
  • SEA-Minneapolis/MSP Northwest A320
  • MSP-Chicago/ORD United 727-200
  • ORD-PIT American Fokker 100
this is actually believable, because a late afternoon departure from OGG would have arrived into SEA ~2200, and I'm far too well acquainted with the SEA-MSP redeye and its gawdawful ~0045 departure


38- if not M80s, how about 737-300s (admittedly this routing is somewhat roundabout, but Delta being out of the picture complicates the geography)
  • MYR-Charlotte/CLT-Pittsburgh/PIT on US; PIT-Dallas/DFW also on US
  • DFW-Denver/DEN on Frontier
  • DEN-GEG on United
